Concert: NJW All-star Alumni Band

The National Jazz Workshop All-star Alumni Band kicks off this year's program with a special concert featuring an array of jazz standards.

Student Jam Sessions

All National Jazz Workshop students are invited to play in an array of student jam sessions outside and/or in Ruebush Hall and Armstrong Hall.

Performance Track students participate in Remedial Jazz Theory, Beginning Jazz Theory, Intermediate Jazz Theory and Advanced Jazz Theory classes with various National Jazz Workshop faculty. 

Arranging Track

Performance Track students participate in Beginning Jazz Improvisation, Intermediate Jazz Theory, Advanced Jazz Improvisation classes, as well as drum set, bass, piano and guitar masterclasses with National Jazz Workshop faculty.
